Job Description

Children's Hospital Colorado is looking for a motivated and organized Research Pharmacy Technician to join their team of professionals and make a positive impact in the lives of young patients and their families. The ideal candidate should have a passion for detail-oriented work, be able to consistently deliver excellent customer service, and possess a good knowledge of both pharmacology and research-related tasks.The successful applicant will be responsible for accurately preparing and dispensing medications for clinical research studies and providing excellent customer service to the research teams and patients. The Research Pharmacy Technician will also be responsible for providing accurate reports of research-related activities to departmental leadership.To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:• High School Diploma or equivalent• Previous experience in a clinical pharmacy setting• Knowledge of pharmacology and research-related tasks• Excellent organizational and communication skills• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively• Dedication to providing excellent customer serviceIf you have a passion for helping others and have the desired qualifications, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities:

  1. Accurately prepare and dispense medications for clinical research studies.
  2. Provide excellent customer service to research teams and patients.
  3. Maintain accurate records of research-related activities.
  4. Perform basic pharmacological calculations.
  5. Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to research activities.
  6. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  7. Stay up to date on relevant literature and clinical studies.
  8. Assist with the development and implementation of research protocols.
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to research activities.
  10. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure successful research outcomes.
