Registered Nurse - Neurology

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients with neurological conditions under the direction of the Neurology physician team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
• Monitor and assess patient's condition, recognizing and responding to changes in a timely and appropriate manner
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
• Educate patients and their families on the disease process, treatment plan, and management of symptoms
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic medical records
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to promote a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based nursing practices
• Attend and actively participate in relevant meetings, trainings, and educational opportunities to stay current in the field of neurology nursing.
