- Provide exceptional care to young patients with mental health needs in our Inpatient Psychiatric Services.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and assess patients' mental health status and report any changes or concerns to the treatment team.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Ensure patient safety by following all hospital and unit policies and procedures.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families during their hospital stay.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
- Continuously develop and improve clinical skills through training, education, and professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care.
- Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
- Collaborate with community resources to coordinate post-hospitalization care for patients.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Colorado.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Psychiatric Or Behavioral Health Setting.
Bls (Basic Life Support) Certification.
Strong Knowledge Of Mental Health Disorders And Treatment Modalities For Children And Adolescents.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Compassionate Care To Patients And Their Families.
