Registered Nurse GI Clinic

We’re looking for an experienced, passionate Registered Nurse to join our GI Clinic team at Children’s Hospital Colorado. As a Registered Nurse, you will play an important role in providing excellent patient care to those in our Gastroenterology Clinic. You will be part of a team of dedicated professionals, working together to provide the best possible care for our patients and their families.To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in nursing, as well as a current license to practice in Colorado. You should also possess a minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a pediatric setting. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to build trust and rapport with children and their families. Responsibilities:

1. Administer necessary treatments to patients in the Gastroenterology Clinic
2. Provide education to patients and their families about their care
3. Maintain current records of patient care and medical histories
4. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
5. Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members
6. Ensure that all treatments and procedures are performed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
7. Assist in the development of care plans for patients
8. Provide emotional support to patients and their families
9. Maintain a safe and clean working environment
10. Participate in continuing education and training opportunities
