Registered Nurse Developmental Peds

You will also educate patients and their families about their diagnosis, treatments, and care plans.To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a current Colorado RN license. You must have at least two years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in a pediatric setting, preferably specializing in developmental disabilities. You must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with developmental disabilities and their families.
2. Collaborate with members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure that each patient receives the best possible care.
3. Educate patients and their families about their diagnosis, treatments, and care plans.
4. Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
5. Demonstrate excellence in communication and customer service.
6. Maintain a current Colorado RN license.
7. Monitor patient progress and document changes in patient status.
8. Monitor medication regimens and respond to any changes in the patient’s condition.
9. Participate in patient care planning meetings and provide input.
10. Assist with patient discharge planning.
