
Registered Nurse - Allergy Clinic
At Children’s Hospital Colorado, we are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Allergy Clinic team. The ideal candidate will be compassionate and demonstrate strong clinical skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and diverse environment.Required qualifications for this position include:• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field• At least 5 years of experience in a clinic setting• Experience with pediatric allergies• Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or equivalent• Knowledge of interdisciplinary clinical models and processes• Passion for providing excellent patient care
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-centered care in accordance with established standards of practice.
- Assess patients’ condition and develop nursing plans of care.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
- Monitor the progress of patients and adjust plans of care accordingly.
- Document patient care and progress in an accurate and timely manner.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Educate patients and families about allergies and treatments.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain current knowledge of advances in pediatrics and allergies.
- Participate in professional development activities to keep abreast of the latest developments in the field.
-Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn)
-Current Licensure As A Registered Nurse (Rn) In The State Of Colorado
-At Least Two Years Of Acute Care Experience In An Allergy Clinic Setting
-Knowledge Of Clinical Practice
