- Conduct comprehensive medication reviews for oncology patients to ensure the safe and effective use of medications.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for oncology patients.
- Monitor medication therapy for potential adverse effects and drug interactions.
- Provide drug information and education to healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including medication profiles and drug therapy interventions.
- Adhere to all federal and state regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures, regarding medication handling and dispensing.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
- Stay up-to-date on current research, developments, and advancements in oncology pharmacotherapy.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure timely and accurate dispensing of medications.
- Provide support and guidance to pharmacy technicians and interns.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing and implementing protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor while interacting with patients and their families.
- Act as a resource for healthcare professionals regarding drug therapy and medication management.
- Adhere to all hospital safety and infection control protocols.

Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Pharmacy School
Active Pharmacist License In The State Of Colorado
Board Certification In Oncology Pharmacy (Bcop) Or Relevant Experience In Pediatric Oncology
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Clinical Pharmacist In An Oncology Setting
Strong Knowledge Of Pediatric Pharmacotherapy And Chemotherapy Regimens, Including Dosing And Monitoring Of High-Risk Medications For Children
