  1. Collect blood samples from pediatric patients in a safe, efficient, and compassionate manner.
  2. Maintain accurate records of all specimens collected and ensure proper labeling and storage.
  3. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to minimize risk of infection and maintain a sterile environment.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare team members to ensure a positive and comfortable experience.
  5. Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures on patients of all ages, including infants and young children.
  6. Monitor patient reactions and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions or complications.
  7. Operate and maintain phlebotomy equipment, ensuring proper functioning and accuracy.
  8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate test results for proper diagnosis and treatment.
  9. Keep up-to-date with industry standards and developments in phlebotomy techniques and procedures.
  10. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
  11. Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the job.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, responding to any concerns or questions with empathy and professionalism.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  14. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification: Candidates Must Have A Valid Phlebotomy Certification From An Accredited Institution.

  • Experience: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience As A Phlebotomist, Preferably In A Pediatric Setting, Is Required.

  • Knowledge Of Pediatric Procedures: Candidates Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Pediatric Phlebotomy Techniques And Equipment.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Necessary To Interact With Pediatric Patients And Their Families.
