- Develop and implement educational programs and curriculum for pharmacy students and residents, tailored specifically to pediatric patients and their unique needs
- Collaborate with the hospital's pharmacy team and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of safe and effective medication therapy for pediatric patients
- Conduct lectures, workshops, and other educational activities to enhance the knowledge and skills of pharmacy students and residents
- Serve as a mentor and role model to pharmacy students and residents, providing guidance and support in their professional development
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and developments in pediatric pharmacy practice and incorporate them into educational programs
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure continuous improvement
- Participate in research and scholarly activities related to pediatric pharmacy education, and present findings at conferences and in publications
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement interdisciplinary educational opportunities for pharmacy students and residents
- Serve as a resource for pharmacy students and residents, providing guidance and support on a variety of patient care and medication-related topics
- Participate in department and hospital committees and initiatives to improve patient care and advance the field of pediatric pharmacy.
Active Pharmacist License In The State Of Colorado
Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution
Previous Experience As A Clinical Pharmacist In A Pediatric Setting
Minimum Of 3 Years Teaching Experience In A Healthcare Or Academic Setting
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Educate And Train Pharmacy Students, Residents, And Healthcare Professionals.
