- Collect and verify insurance information and communicate any potential issues to the appropriate departments
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate care for patients
- Answer incoming calls and assist with inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department
- Provide clear and thorough explanations of hospital policies and procedures to patients and their families
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive and smooth patient experience

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Patient Access Representative At Children's Hospital Colorado Is A High School Diploma Or Ged. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Understanding Of Academic Concepts And Is Able To Communicate Effectively.
Customer Service Experience: Previous Experience In A Customer Service Role Is Highly Valued For This Position.
