  1. Provide high-quality orthodontic care to children in a safe and compassionate manner.
  2. Assist orthodontists in the diagnosis and treatment of orthodontic conditions.
  3. Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient appointments.
  4. Educate patients and their families on proper orthodontic care and treatment plans.
  5. Take and develop dental x-rays as needed.
  6. Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment.
  7. Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
  8. Monitor patient progress and report any concerns or changes to the orthodontist.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  10. Keep up-to-date with advancements and changes in the field of orthodontics.
  11. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
  13. Assist with administrative tasks and scheduling appointments when needed.
  14. Maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.

  • Completion Of An Accredited Dental Assistant Program.

  • Current Certification As A Certified Orthodontic Assistant (Coa) Through The Dental Assisting National Board (Danb).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Orthodontic Assistant.

  • Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Work Well With Children And Their Families.
