Job Description

Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking a passionate, experienced Oncology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to join our team and provide excellent patient care and clinical services. The ideal candidate should have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, be board certified in oncology, and possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an acute care setting. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide excellent patient care and clinical services in an oncology setting.
  2. Educate patients and their families about oncology treatments and medications.
  3. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for oncology patients.
  4. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments and medications accordingly.
  5. Communicate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  6. Remain up-to-date with new research and advancements in oncology.
  7. Participate in research projects and clinical trials as needed.
  8. Ensure adherence to hospital and state regulations.
  9. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  10. Provide education and training to other healthcare professionals.
