Job Description

Children's Hospital Colorado is currently seeking an experienced and compassionate MRI Technologist to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and have experience working with children of all ages. The MRI Technologist will provide safe and effective imaging procedures to our patients while adhering to policies and procedures in a professional and timely manner.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field, be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), and have a current Colorado state license in Radiologic Technology. Additionally, experience in a pediatric setting is highly preferred. The successful candidate will have strong critical thinking skills, be able to adjust to various situations, and excel in communications and customer service. Above all, the successful candidate must be committed to providing excellent, compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide safe and effective imaging procedures to patients, adhering to policies and procedures in a professional and timely manner.
  2. Communicate with patients and families, providing excellent customer service.
  3. Adjust to various situations in order to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  4. Maintain current licensure in Radiologic Technology and certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  5. Utilize strong critical thinking skills and medical knowledge.
  6. Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
  7. Follow all safety protocols, including the use of protective garments and equipment.
  8. Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
  9. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
