- Oversee the safe and effective use of medications for pediatric patients at Children's Hospital Colorado.
- Develop and implement medication safety protocols and procedures to ensure the highest level of patient safety.

- Collaborate with medical staff, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to promote a culture of medication safety.

- Provide support and guidance to staff during medication recalls and shortages.
- Collaborate with pharmacy and purchasing departments to ensure safe medication storage and availability.
- Communicate with patients and families about medication safety and answer any questions or concerns.
- Act as a liaison with outside organizations and agencies regarding medication safety initiatives and regulations.
Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Related Field, With A Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Medication Safety Or A Related Role.
Extensive Knowledge Of Medication Safety Practices, Regulations, And Best Practices In A Pediatric Healthcare Setting.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Implement Solutions To Prevent Medication Errors.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Healthcare Professionals, Patients, And Families.
Certified Professional In Patient Safety (Cpps) Or Other Relevant Certification Preferred.
