- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including taking vital signs and obtaining medical histories.
- Administer medications and perform basic laboratory tests as directed by healthcare providers.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including updating patient information and documenting treatments.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating patient care with other departments.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices and procedures.
- Follow hospital policies and procedures to maintain a high standard of patient care.
- Provide support to healthcare providers during procedures and examinations.
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and managing patient paperwork.
- Collaborate with insurance companies and other third-party payers to ensure proper billing and reimbursement.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is in proper working condition.

Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma) Credential
Experience Working In A Specialty Clinic, Such As Pediatric Cardiology Or Oncology
Knowledge Of Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Systems, Such As Epic Or Cerner
Ability To Perform Clinical Tasks, Such As Taking Vital Signs And Administering Medications
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Pediatric Patients And Their Families
