
Manager - Spiritual Care Services

- Oversee the delivery of spiritual care services to patients and their families.
- Develop and implement programs to meet the spiritual needs of patients and families.
- Provide guidance and support to a team of spiritual care providers.
- Ensure that all spiritual care services are in line with the hospital's mission and values.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to patients.
- Maintain a deep understanding of both medical and spiritual needs in a healthcare setting.
- Conduct regular assessments of spiritual care services and make necessary improvements.
- Ensure that all team members are trained and equipped to provide compassionate and holistic care.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for the spiritual care team.
- Manage budget and resources for spiritual care services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community spiritual organizations and resources.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in spiritual care.
- Act as a liaison between the spiritual care team and other hospital departments.
- Provide support and counseling for patients and families in times of crisis.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of the job.
Master's Degree In Theology, Divinity, Spiritual Care, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Spiritual Care, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Certification As A Board Certified Chaplain (Bcc) Through A Recognized Organization (Such As The Association Of Professional Chaplains Or The National Association Of Catholic Chaplains).
Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With Experience Overseeing A Team Of Spiritual Care Providers.
Demonstrated Understanding And Sensitivity To The Unique Needs Of Pediatric Patients And Their Families, As Well As The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Diverse Healthcare Team.
