If so, we have the perfect job for you.Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking an experienced Manager of Pharmacy Clinical Services Critical Care to lead our pharmacy team in providing safe, high quality, evidence-based medication management services to our pediatric critical care patients.You must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and at least 5 years of progressive clinical pharmacy experience, including 3 years in a children's hospital or pediatric critical care setting. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of pharmacy professionals to ensure the highest quality of clinical services and exceptional patient-centered care.
- Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based medication management protocols and processes for pediatric critical care patients.
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes to ensure the safety and effectiveness of medication regimens.
- Collaborate with other health care professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Cultivate an environment of collaboration, open communication, and professional development among pharmacy team members.
- Develop policies and procedures related to pharmacy practice and patient safety.
- Manage the budget and resources of the pharmacy department.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and accreditation standards.
- Monitor trends and advances in pharmacy practice and make recommendations for improvement.
- Educate health care professionals, patients, and families on medication use and safety.
