
Manager Pharmacy Clinical Services
Children's Hospital Colorado is looking for a Manager Pharmacy Clinical Services who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and their families. We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated, organized, and professional with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. The ideal candidate must have a PharmD degree or equivalent degree, and have a minimum of 3 years of clinical pharmacy experience in a pediatric healthcare setting. They must also have a working knowledge of computer systems, have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with a variety of personnel. We are looking for a team leader who is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the pharmacy clinical services team to ensure high quality patient care.
- Develop, implement, and maintain pharmacy policies and procedures that comply with applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor and review medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of treatment.
- Provide education and training to staff and other healthcare professionals on new and existing medications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information in the pharmacy system.
- Participate in research projects and other programs designed to improve patient safety and quality of care.
- Remain current on the latest advances in pharmacy practice and patient care.
- Participate in performance improvement activities and other initiatives to improve patient care and safety.
- Maintain and promote a safe and positive work environment.
