
IT Security Analyst Professional

- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks and proactively address them.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and investigate security incidents, escalate as necessary, and take appropriate actions to mitigate potential threats.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and make recommendations for security improvements.
- Perform regular audits and assessments of security controls to ensure they are functioning effectively.
- Create and maintain documentation of security processes, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Provide training and awareness to staff on security best practices and policies.
- Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on security-related issues and initiatives.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure secure data exchange and communication.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Assist with security incident response and management, including forensic analysis and reporting.
- Communicate and present security-related updates, findings, and recommendations to leadership.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In It Security, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Certification In One Or More Of The Following: Cissp, Cism, Cisa, Or Giac.
Strong Understanding Of Security Frameworks And Regulations Such As Hipaa, Hitech, And Nist.
Experience With Security Tools And Technologies Such As Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, And Vulnerability Scanning Tools.
