Infection Preventionist

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement infection prevention strategies, policies, and procedures in order to protect the health and safety of patients.
2. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards for infection prevention.
3. Monitor and investigate potential infectious disease outbreaks.
4. Monitor and analyze infection prevention data and trends.
5. Educate and train healthcare personnel on infection prevention best practices.
6. Develop and deliver educational programs related to infection prevention and control.
7. Provide guidance and direction to department staff and other personnel in matters related to infection prevention.
8. Maintain and update infection prevention protocols and records.
9. Participate in committees and initiatives related to infection prevention.
10. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and community partners.
