Job Description

At Children's Hospital Colorado, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Gait Lab Engineer to join our team. This position is responsible for leading day-to-day operations of the Gait Lab, including providing technical support for gait and biomechanical evaluations. In this role, you will be both a leader and a mentor, and you must be able to work independently and collaboratively with a team.The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, physical therapy, biomechanics, exercise science, or a related field, as well as experience with gait analysis equipment and gait analysis. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead day-to-day operations of the Gait Lab.
  2. Provide technical support for gait and biomechanical evaluations.
  3. Mentor staff and provide guidance on gait analysis equipment and gait analysis.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with customers and other stakeholders.
  5. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues.
  6. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure safety and operational effectiveness.
  7. Monitor and evaluate performance of gait and biomechanical evaluations.
  8. Coordinate and collaborate with Gait Lab staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy of data collection.
  9. Analyze data and generate reports.
  10. Maintain and update gait analysis equipment and software.
  11. Perform administrative duties as necessary.
