Job Description

At Children's Hospital Colorado, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Equipment Inventory Technician to join our team. As an Equipment Inventory Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, organization, and tracking of medical equipment throughout the hospital. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and maintain all medical equipment in the hospital, including ordering, stocking, and tracking of new and existing equipment.
  2. Ensure accurate inventory tracking of medical equipment, including tracking of location, maintenance history, and usage.
  3. Work with vendors to ensure timely delivery of new equipment and repair of malfunctioning equipment.
  4. Develop and implement processes to ensure organization and efficiency of inventory management.
  5. Provide technical support and training to hospital staff on the usage of medical equipment.
  6. Coordinate with other departments to ensure that all medical equipment is up to date and compliant with regulations.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with medical equipment.
  8. Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed.
  9. Stay up to date with best practices in medical equipment inventory management.
  10. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
