Job Description

Children's Hospital Colorado is searching for an Epic ClinDoc Application Analyst to join our innovative IT team. The Analyst will be an integral part of the team, responsible for providing support and assistance with Epic ClinDoc configuration and training. We are looking for someone with a passion for technology and a commitment to ensuring the highest level of satisfaction for our clinicians and patients.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Epic’s ClinDoc module, in addition to strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively. We are searching for a team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellence in patient care.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field as well as 3+ years of experience in healthcare IT systems, with at least 1 year of experience working with Epic ClinDoc. Certification in Epic ClinDoc is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Configure and maintain Epic ClinDoc system according to established protocols.
  2. Train clinicians and other healthcare staff on the use of Epic ClinDoc.
  3. Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical assistance as needed.
  4. Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
  5. Develop reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas of improvement.
  6. Coordinate with IT team members and other departments to ensure seamless integration of Epic ClinDoc with other systems.
  7. Maintain up-to-date documentation and user manuals.
  8. Keep abreast of new technologies and best practices related to Epic ClinDoc.
  9. Develop and deliver presentations and training sessions on Epic ClinDoc.
  10. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
