
Director of Compliance, Research and Sponsored Programs
Children's Hospital Colorado is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Compliance, Research and Sponsored Programs to join our team and oversee the research and sponsored programs that are essential to our mission. The successful candidate will be an organized, detail-oriented leader who is able to interpret and understand the complex regulations and policies governing our research teams.The Director of Compliance, Research and Sponsored Programs will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the research portfolio. This individual will ensure that all research activities comply with all applicable regulations and institutional policies. The ideal candidate will understand the mission of Children's Hospital Colorado, have excellent problem solving and management skills, and be able to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders.The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in a science, health-care, business or related field with at least five years of experience in research administration. Previous experience in a healthcare setting and knowledge of sponsored programs is preferred. The Director must be able to work with a variety of stakeholders, including staff, faculty, and external organizations. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess a strong sense of ethics, integrity, and commitment to promoting and protecting the interests of Children's Hospital Colorado.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage the research portfolio in compliance with all applicable regulations and institutional policies.
- Interpret and understand complex research regulations and policies.
- Provide leadership to staff, faculty, and external organizations to ensure research activities are compliant with regulations and policies.
- Maintain excellent problem solving and management skills.
- Effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
- Monitor research activities and sponsor programs.
- Develop and maintain a strong sense of ethics, integrity, and commitment to protect the interests of Children's Hospital Colorado.
