
Dietitian Assistant PRN

- Collaborate with dietitians to provide high-quality care and support for young patients at Children's Hospital Colorado.
- Assist in assessing patients' nutritional needs and developing personalized meal plans.
- Educate patients and their families on healthy eating habits and promote overall well-being.
- Monitor patients' food intake and provide support for any dietary restrictions or special needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patients' nutritional status and progress.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Stay informed on current nutrition research and trends to continuously improve patient care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving the nutrition program at Children's Hospital Colorado.
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and families.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining inventory of nutrition supplies.
- Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth within the role.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions with patients, families, and staff.

Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Pediatric Setting.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Dietary Guidelines, And Therapeutic Diets.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members.
Current Certification As A Registered Dietetic Technician (Dtr) Or Willingness To Obtain Within 6 Months Of Hire.
