Dialysis Care Technician

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Dialysis Care Technician to join the team at Children's Hospital Colorado. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent care to pediatric patients and a commitment to delivering the highest quality of care.The Dialysis Care Technician will be responsible for providing quality dialysis treatment to pediatric patients in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders. Responsibilities:

1. Provide quality dialysis treatments to pediatric patients in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
2. Monitor dialysis equipment and ensure proper functioning.
3. Maintain and troubleshoot dialysis catheters and monitor progress.
4. Provide patient education on dialysis treatments and procedures.
5. Record patient vital signs and monitor patient status.
6. Ensure patient safety and compliance with dialysis protocols.
7. Work with other health care professionals to assess patient needs and develop individual treatment plans.
8. Assist in the development of plans for patient discharge and follow-up care.
9. Monitor patient progress and update physicians as needed.
10. Provide compassionate and caring support to pediatric patients and their families.
