1. Greet and welcome patients and their families to the dental office with a warm and friendly attitude.
2. Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures, ensuring they are clean and properly stocked with necessary supplies.
3. Assist the dentist during dental procedures by passing instruments, taking X-rays, and providing suction as needed.
4. Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide post-procedure care instructions.
5. Maintain accurate patient records and update as needed.
6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure a smooth and positive dental experience.
7. Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
8. Assist with scheduling and confirming appointments, as well as managing patient flow throughout the day.
9. Take and develop X-rays as directed by the dentist.
10. Monitor and maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, and assist with ordering as needed.
11. Continuously strive to improve and enhance patient care by staying updated on new techniques and technologies in the dental field.
12. Provide support and assistance to the dental team as needed to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
13. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times, especially when working with young patients and their families.
