- Collaborate with coding and clinical staff to resolve any coding-related issues and provide feedback for improvement.
- Stay updated on current coding guidelines and regulations, and communicate any changes or updates to coding staff.
- Develop and maintain a system for tracking and reporting coding accuracy and compliance metrics.
- Assist in the development and implementation of coding education and training programs for coding staff.
- Participate in coding audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to coding guidelines and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate and collaborate with other departments and healthcare providers to ensure accurate and complete coding.

Bachelor's Degree In Health Information Management Or Related Field
Certification As A Registered Health Information Technician (Rhit) Or Certified Coding Specialist (Ccs)
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Coding Experience In An Inpatient Setting
Strong Understanding Of Icd-10-Cm And Cpt Coding Guidelines And Regulations
Experience With Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Systems And Coding Software
