
Clinical Specialty Coordinator Pediatric Diabetes Center

- Coordinate and lead a team of healthcare professionals in the Pediatric Diabetes Center.
- Provide expert clinical care and education to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Pediatric Diabetes Center, including scheduling, budgeting, and maintaining supplies and equipment.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and efficient operations.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to staff, providing guidance and support in the management of pediatric diabetes.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in pediatric diabetes care and incorporate into practice.
- Collaborate with community organizations and resources to provide additional support and education for patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
- Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring effective communication and continuity of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and identify areas for improvement in the Pediatric Diabetes Center.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in patient care and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs for patients, families, and staff.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Provide support and advocacy for patients and families, promoting their well-being and best interests.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Diabetes Management.
Certification As A Certified Diabetes Educator (Cde) Or Willingness To Obtain Within 1 Year Of Hire.
Previous Leadership Or Management Experience In A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Current Pediatric Diabetes Care Guidelines And Best Practices.
