Clinical Social Worker

At Children's Hospital Colorado, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Clinical Social Worker to join our team. The Clinical Social Worker will play an integral role in providing culturally competent, trauma-informed, and evidence-based clinical social work services to patients and families. The ideal candidate must have a Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, a minimum of two years of post-graduate experience working with children and/or families, and a Colorado license in social work. The successful candidate will bring a commitment to excellent patient service, culturally competent care, and a passion for helping children and families. Responsibilities:

1. Provide culturally competent, trauma-informed, and evidence-based clinical social work services to patients and families.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with patients and families, understanding their individual needs and providing appropriate clinical interventions.
3. Utilize a variety of methods to assess patient and family needs, including comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
4. Design and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of patients and families.
5. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to communicate progress and ensure coordination of care.
6. Facilitate communication between patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
7. Provide crisis intervention and advocacy services to patients and families.
8. Document patient and family progress in medical records and other documentation.
9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the latest social work practices and techniques.
10. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
