
Clinical Resource Nurse

- Provide clinical support and guidance to nursing staff to ensure high-quality care for pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement evidence-based practices and protocols.
- Serve as a resource for nursing staff in areas such as patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care practices to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process changes.
- Participate in the development and implementation of training programs for new and existing nursing staff.
- Maintain knowledge of current best practices, policies, and procedures in pediatric care and disseminate information to nursing staff.
- Act as a liaison between nursing staff and other departments to facilitate communication and ensure efficient coordination of patient care.
- Provide support and guidance to nursing staff in handling complex and challenging patient cases.
- Collaborate with nurse managers and other leaders to identify and address staffing needs and ensure adequate coverage.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in data collection and analysis to drive improvements in patient outcomes.
- Serve as a role model for best practices in pediatric nursing and promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines related to pediatric care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to address their concerns and provide education on care plans and treatment options.
- Actively participate in hospital committees and workgroups to promote quality improvement and advance the mission of Children's Hospital Colorado.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.
Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Colorado.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Nursing.
Certification In A Relevant Specialty Area, Such As Pediatric Critical Care Or Pediatric Oncology.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Educate Staff, Patients, And Families.
