
Clinical Nurse Supervisor Nephrology

- Oversee and supervise a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high-quality care for pediatric nephrology patients.
- Utilize extensive knowledge and experience in nephrology to develop and implement effective care plans for patients, taking into consideration their unique needs and medical histories.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and deliver comprehensive care for patients.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care provided by the nephrology team, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address them.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, including those related to patient safety, infection control, and documentation.
- Act as a resource and advocate for patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions and providing education on nephrology care and treatments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and their families, promoting a positive and welcoming environment within the nephrology unit.
- Provide support and guidance to nursing staff in complex or challenging patient cases, utilizing critical thinking skills and clinical expertise.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Stay current on advancements and developments in pediatric nephrology care, incorporating new techniques and best practices into patient care as appropriate.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) Or Higher From An Accredited Institution.
Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of Colorado.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Nephrology Nursing, Preferably In A Pediatric Setting.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience In Managing And Supervising A Team Of Nurses.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Pediatric Nephrology Procedures, Treatments, And Equipment.
