  1. Develop and implement ethical guidelines and standards for the hospital in accordance with our mission to put children first.
  2. Lead and manage the Clinical Ethics Program, including overseeing a team of ethics consultants and facilitators.
  3. Provide guidance and support to hospital staff and medical teams in navigating difficult and complex ethical decisions.
  4. Conduct regular trainings and education sessions to promote understanding and awareness of ethical principles and guidelines among staff.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and committees to ensure ethical considerations are integrated into all aspects of patient care.
  6. Stay updated on current ethical issues and developments in the healthcare industry and adapt the program accordingly.
  7. Serve as a resource for families and patients in need of ethical support and decision-making assistance.
  8. Facilitate discussions and consultations with stakeholders, including patients, families, medical staff, and legal representatives, to reach ethical resolutions.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all ethics consultations and decisions.
  10. Participate in hospital committees and initiatives related to ethical considerations in patient care.
  11. Foster a culture of ethical awareness and accountability throughout the hospital.
  12. Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  13. Represent the hospital in the community and at conferences related to clinical ethics.
  14. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as ethical codes and guidelines set forth by regulatory bodies.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the Clinical Ethics Program to ensure it remains aligned with the hospital's mission and meets the needs of patients, families, and staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Bioethics, Healthcare Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Clinical Ethics And/Or Healthcare Management.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Ethical Principles, Laws And Regulations Related To Healthcare.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work With Diverse Stakeholders And Handle Sensitive Situations.

  • Proven Leadership And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Develop And Implement Ethical Policies And Procedures.
