Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and driven Clinical Dietitian Associate PRN to join the medical team at Children’s Hospital Colorado. This position is a great opportunity for a self-motivated, team-oriented, and client-focused individual to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and their families. The Clinical Dietitian Associate PRN will provide excellent nutrition services to patients, families, and staff. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics, be a Registered Dietitian, and have experience in a clinical setting. The successful candidate will also demonstrate excellent communication skills, empathy, and knowledge of evidence-based nutrition practices.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop individualized nutrition care plans for pediatric patients and their families.
  2. Educate patients and families about nutrition and healthy eating habits.
  3. Monitor and evaluate patient progress to ensure effectiveness of nutrition care plans.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
  5. Research and stay informed of evidence-based nutrition practices.
  6. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
  7. Maintain patient records, including medical history, nutrition care plans, and progress notes.
  8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure best practices.
  9. Provide compassionate and empathetic care to pediatric patients and their families.
  10. Utilize appropriate technology to store, track, and manage patient data.
