Clinical Dietitian Associate PRN

At Children’s Hospital Colorado, we are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Dietitian Associate to join our team in a PRN capacity. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field, as well as registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to exceptional patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other members of our multidisciplinary team. The Clinical Dietitian Associate will be responsible for providing nutrition care to pediatric patients in the hospital and outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide individualized nutrition care to pediatric patients in a hospital and outpatient setting.
2. Develop nutrition care plans and implement nutrition interventions for patients.
3. Evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition interventions and adjust plans as needed.
4. Educate patients and their families on healthy nutrition habits and lifestyle choices.
5. Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care.
6. Document patient nutrition care in a timely and accurate manner.
7. Maintain professional competency by participating in continuing education and training opportunities.
8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
9. Maintain standards of practice in accordance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
10. Participate in research activities as needed.
