- Conduct nutritional assessments and develop individualized plans for patients based on their specific needs and medical conditions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Educate patients and their families on proper nutrition and lifestyle choices to promote overall health and wellness.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and incorporate them into practice.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress.
- Work with patients from diverse backgrounds and cultures, ensuring cultural sensitivity and understanding.
- Advocate for the importance of proper nutrition and its impact on overall health to patients, families, and the broader community.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise on nutrition-related matters.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as ethical and legal standards related to nutrition care.
- Continuously strive to improve and enhance the nutrition services provided to patients and their families.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to create a supportive and collaborative work environment.
- Attend and participate in relevant training and professional development opportunities.

- Represent Children's Hospital Colorado in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field From An Accredited University.
Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Rdn) Certification From The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Pediatric Or Hospital Environment.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Pediatric Nutrition, Medical Nutrition Therapy, And Evidence-Based Practice.
Strong Communication And Counseling Skills, With The Ability To Educate And Engage Patients And Families In Nutrition-Related Topics.
