Child Life Specialist PRN

Responsibilities:

1. Provide therapeutic play, education, and support to hospitalized children and their families.

3. Establish and maintain relationships with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
4. Respond to patients’ physical and emotional needs.
5. Demonstrate knowledge of the medical environment and the impact of hospitalization on children and families.
6. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and other hospital functions.
7. Assist in providing child life services for family-centered care.
8. Document all interactions with patients and families.
9. Ensure compliance with appropriate professional and ethical standards.
10. Maintain ongoing education and professional development in the field of Child Life.
