1. Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and interventions to help children cope with their hospital stay.

4. Educate families and caregivers on how to support the emotional and developmental needs of their child during hospitalization.
5. Utilize play and creative expression to promote emotional well-being and reduce anxiety for children.
6. Provide support and resources for siblings of hospitalized children.
7. Communicate regularly with patients and families to assess their needs and address any concerns.
8. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of interactions and interventions.
9. Serve as a liaison between patients and families and other healthcare professionals.
10. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in Child Life and child development.
11. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide input on patient care plans.
12. Collaborate with community organizations to provide additional support and resources for patients and families.
13. Participate in hospital-wide events and initiatives to promote the Child Life program.
14. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as ethical and professional standards.
15. Continuously evaluate and improve upon Child Life services to best meet the needs of children and families.
