Cardiac Sonographers

Children's Hospital Colorado is currently seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our team of dedicated professionals who provide compassionate, family-centered care to our patients. In this role, you will be responsible for performing safe and accurate ultrasound examinations of pediatric cardiac patients.The ideal candidate for this role should have a minimum of two years of experience in pediatric cardiac ultrasound and be registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS). Further, they should have excellent communication skills and be capable of providing appropriate patient education. Responsibilities:

1. Perform safe and accurate ultrasound examinations of pediatric cardiac patients.
2. Provide appropriate patient education.
3. Ensure quality services to patients and families.
4. Maintain ARDMS certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).
5. Communicate effectively with patients and families.
6. Maintain knowledge of pediatric cardiac ultrasound protocols and standards.
7. Report findings to physicians, and ensure accuracy of diagnostic tests.
8. Maintain a professional and respectful atmosphere in the department.
9. Follow safety protocols and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
10. Provide support to colleagues and team members.
