
Behavioral Health Specialist

- Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.
- Provide evidence-based interventions and treatment modalities to address a variety of mental health concerns in children and adolescents.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Educate patients and families on mental health issues and treatment options.
- Document all patient interactions and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field of child and adolescent mental health.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
- Advocate for patients and families to ensure they receive the best possible care.
- Collaborate with community resources to provide support and ongoing care for patients.
- Act as a role model for patients and their families by demonstrating empathy, compassion, and professionalism at all times.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of mental health services.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.

- Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy at all times.
Master's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Behavioral Health Counseling Or Therapy.
Active Licensure Or Certification In The State Of Colorado (E.g. Lpc, Lcsw, Lmft).
Experience Working With Pediatric Populations, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Therapeutic Interventions And Ability To Create Individualized Treatment Plans For Children And Adolescents.
