We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Level 8 Medical. Our Behavioral Health Specialists play a critical role in supporting the mental health and well-being of our patients and their families. To be considered for this role, candidates must have a minimum of a Master's degree in a related field and be licensed as a Behavioral Health Specialist in the state of Colorado. We are looking for individuals with strong clinical skills, a compassionate and empathetic approach, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.   1. Provide high-quality behavioral health services to patients and families at Children's Hospital Colorado.
  2. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  3. Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment approaches for patients.
  4. Develop and facilitate individual and group therapy sessions for patients.
  5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
  6. Educate patients and their families on behavioral health conditions and treatment options.
  7. Serve as a resource and advocate for patients and families, addressing their needs and concerns.
  8. Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  9. Comply with all legal and ethical standards, as well as hospital policies and procedures.
  10. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in the field of behavioral health.
  11. Attend and participate in team meetings, trainings, and other professional development opportunities.
  12. Adhere to all state and federal regulations and maintain appropriate licensure.
  13. Foster a compassionate and empathetic environment for patients and families.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of patients and families.
  15. Collaborate with community resources and organizations to ensure continuity of care for patients.
  16. Promote a positive and supportive work culture within the team and hospital.
  17. Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the mission and goals of Children's Hospital Colorado.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Behavioral Health Setting, Preferably In A Pediatric Or Hospital Setting

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practices And Treatment Modalities For Children And Adolescents With Behavioral Health Disorders

  • Current Licensure Or Certification As A Mental Health Counselor, Social Worker, Or Psychologist In The State Of Colorado

  • Ability To Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Culturally Competent Care To Diverse Patient Populations.
