  1. Provide high quality and compassionate care to children with complex neuropsychiatric conditions.
  2. Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  3. Conduct behavioral health assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment options.
  4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and their families to promote a positive and supportive environment.
  5. Utilize evidence-based practices and techniques to effectively address behavioral health concerns.
  6. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field of pediatric behavioral health.
  7. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
  8. Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  9. Provide education and support to families and caregivers on managing and coping with their child's condition.
  10. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  11. Collaborate with community resources and organizations to provide support and resources to patients and families.
  12. Contribute to the overall mission and goals of Children's Hospital Colorado through active participation in initiatives and committees.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and practices within the Neuropsychiatric Special Care department.
  14. Maintain licensure and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
  15. Embrace a child-centered and family-centered approach to care and advocate for the needs of patients and families.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With Children And Adolescents In A Behavioral Health Setting.

  • Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Psychology, Social Work, Or Counseling.

  • Specialized Training Or Certification In Neuropsychiatric Care, Such As A Certification In Pediatric Neuropsychology.

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Therapies And Interventions For Treating Neuropsychiatric Conditions In Children And Adolescents.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Support To Families And Caregivers.
