  1. Provide comprehensive behavioral health services to pediatric patients and their families.
  2. Conduct initial assessments and develop treatment plans based on individual needs.
  3. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support patients’ emotional and behavioral well-being.
  4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients.
  5. Communicate and collaborate with families and caregivers to involve them in the treatment process.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  7. Monitor and track patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  8. Provide crisis intervention and support to patients and families in acute situations.
  9. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in the field of mental health.
  10. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and trainings to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  11. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  12. Serve as an advocate for patients and families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
  13. Collaborate with community resources and referral sources to provide continuity of care for patients.
  14. Uphold the mission, values, and standards of Children’s Hospital Colorado in all aspects of the role.
  15. Continuously demonstrate a commitment to the hospital’s culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Psychology, Counseling, Or Social Work.

  • Minimum Of Two Years Of Clinical Experience In A Pediatric Or Mental Health Setting.

  • Valid State License Or Certification As A Mental Health Professional.

  • Experience And Proficiency In Evidence-Based Treatment Modalities For Children And Adolescents, Such As Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Or Family Therapy.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Multidisciplinary Teams, Patients, And Families.
