- Assist in the setup and preparation of anesthesia equipment for surgical procedures.
- Monitor and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies to ensure proper functioning.
- Assist anesthesiologists and nurses in the induction, maintenance, and emergence of anesthesia.
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by the anesthesia team.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the anesthesia team.
- Assist in positioning and transferring patients safely during procedures.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment, including disinfecting equipment and restocking supplies.
- Collaborate with the anesthesia team to provide high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Continuously update and expand knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of procedures and patient information.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

Certification As An Anesthesia Technician: Candidates Must Possess A Valid Certification As An Anesthesia Technician From A Recognized Organization, Such As The American Society Of Anesthesia Technologists And Technicians (Asatt).
Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Ideal Candidates Will Have Previous Experience Working As An Anesthesia Technician In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting, With A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Procedures.
Knowledge Of Anesthesia Equipment And Procedures: Candidates Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Anesthesia Equipment, Including Troubleshooting And Maintenance, As Well As Experience Assisting With Various Anesthesia Procedures.
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: Anesthesia Technicians Work Closely With Anesthesiologists, Surgeons, And Other Healthcare Professionals, So Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
