1. Assist anesthesia providers in preparing and setting up equipment and supplies for procedures.
2. Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia equipment during procedures.
3. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
4. Restock and order supplies as needed.
5. Prepare and maintain anesthesia records and documentation accurately and timely.
6. Communicate effectively with anesthesia providers, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
7. Follow infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
8. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during pre- and post-anesthesia care.
9. Ensure patient safety by following proper protocols and procedures.
10. Troubleshoot technical issues with anesthesia equipment and report any malfunctions.
11. Assist with patient positioning and transport to and from the operating room.
12. Participate in orientation and training of new staff members.
13. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations.
