Instrument & Electrical Technician

This entry level position installs, maintains, and repairs plant instrumentation and electrical equipment, under direct supervision in order to maximize well production and end-user time, while reducing environmental hazards, safety risks and costs. Assists with basic maintenance tasks involving instrumentation and electrical equipment. Responsible for new installations, preventative maintenance, break/fix maintenance and recommends field solution for instrumentation and electrical equipment. Reads and interprets network diagrams, plans, blueprints, electrical wiring diagrams, gauges, and other instruments. Works with hand tools and test instruments. Assists with the response and resolution of emergency calls.
