
Corrosion Technician
This intermediate level position implements and monitors corrosion control programs and integrity projects on assets. Participates in the internal corrosion prevention efforts and programs. Participates in Federal and State audit efforts and programs. Insures that deficiencies are effectively corrected within a timely manner. Provides documentation, timely submission and entry of all corrosion related data. Participates in the corrosion prevention projects as assigned. Participates with the development and maintenance of the corrosion prevention projects budget, report status to management as required. Provides technical guidance and remedial action recommendations, documentation and the timely submission of all compliance related data. Manages corrosion prevention projects as assigned. Assist in the development of the less experienced Corrosion Technicians.
Preferred: Other - NACE CP2 or Corrosion Technologist Certification
5 - 8 years pipeline corrosion prevention or equivalent
2 years of experience in pipeline corrosion prevention or equivalent
NACE Basic Internal Corrosion Course - Successful Completion
