Job Description

CenturyLink is looking for an experienced Federal SOC Information Security Engineer to join our team and help protect our organization’s valuable information assets. The successful candidate will have experience in Federal Security Operations Centers (SOCs) and a passion for staying up-to-date on the latest security threats and solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring and investigating security incidents, providing timely feedback to stakeholders, and making recommendations for improving system security.We are looking for an individual with strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate must also have experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems and tools, as well as a solid understanding of security regulations and best practices. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is strongly preferred.
