Surgical Technician

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Surgical Technician to join the team at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Our surgical team is committed to providing the highest level of care and service to our patients. The ideal candidate for this position should have a passion for helping others, as well as a commitment to excellence.We are looking for a Surgical Technician who is a team player and has excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate should be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience as a Surgical Technician, and hold a current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Operating Room Technician (CORT).

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and position patients for surgery.
2. Assemble and arrange sterile drapes, instruments, and solutions needed for surgery.
3. Ensure proper surgical environment by adhering to sterilization and safety standards.
4. Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by providing instruments and supplies.
5. Assist in the maintenance of surgical equipment and instruments.
6. Monitor patient during the procedure and report any changes to surgeon.
7. Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures.
8. Follow standardized procedures and protocols.
9. Assist with routine patient care duties as required.
10. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
