Steward/Stewardess - Patient Food Service - Per Diem

1. Greet and welcome patients and visitors to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with a warm and professional demeanor.
2. Maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction by addressing any patient concerns or requests promptly and effectively.
3. Coordinate with the Patient Food Service team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of meals to patients.
4. Follow all safety and sanitation protocols while handling and delivering food items to patients.
5. Monitor patient dietary restrictions and communicate any necessary changes to the kitchen staff.
6. Keep inventory of food and supplies, and restock as needed to ensure smooth operation of the food service department.
7. Assist with meal preparation and plating as needed.
8. Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure all meals are prepared and presented according to dietary and quality standards.
9. Keep patient rooms and dining areas clean and organized.
10. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
11. Attend and participate in department meetings and trainings as required.
12. Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction by seeking feedback and implementing suggestions.
13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, especially those pertaining to patient confidentiality.
14. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following proper sanitation and safety protocols.
15. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the overall functioning of the Patient Food Service team.
